Based in Melbourne, Australia, The Wraylettes are the world’s only all-girl band dedicated to the music of explosive Shawnee rock’n’roller Link Wray. With a set spanning Wray’s better-known numbers, his more obscure gems and even a coupla 'Linkspired' originals, the group put their own sassy spin on his songs while staying true to his untamed spirit. Due to members’ other musical commitments (all four Wraylettes play in regularly gigging local bands), The Wraylettes don’t unleash their fierce fuzzed-out sounds very often, so when they do, it's special!
